That Corey Sznajder chart.

Mcleod has zero place in the game. Zero. He'd struggle to score in beer league games. What a day.

don’t even need the colorful charts. the guy is on the back side of his career playing a style of hockey that is basically obsolete.

tell me again why we couldn’t put this money at Reeves, or more realistically Maroon.

I’m beginning to think Gorton is paralyzed by this rebuild notion. I’m not sure there’s a plan being executed at this point, or at least there doesn’t seem to be. This signing reeks of desperation.

most likely right, although maroon has local ties, he may have been swayed if we through in a little more coin but we’ll probably never know.

No shiiiiiit.

WTF is the big deal?

Maybe he's a really well liked guy in locker room, and NYR is trying to help him out with some gambling debts

He’ll be in Hartford by November 1st. If he makes the team at all.

He's just another vet w/ toughness who will be inserted in lineup when his "skill set" is needed ..that's all.

He might just fill a spot until a young guy who didn't make big club at beginning of season, but should improvement in Hartford after a few weeks.

No reason to shiiit a cow

Gorton hasn’t taken on and salary cap contracts because teams don’t want to give up any real assets to free up cap space. Shero would love to leverage our cap space also but refuses to give it away.

Arizona is the league cap whore and have proven it repeatedly. Its practically circumventing the cap because they use these LTIR contracts to get to the salary floor.

The Rangers can turn this rebuild into what Pittsburgh, Chicago, LA and Washington. In a few years the Rangers can be in spot where Winnipeg and Toronto are now. Just need a little...

Kool aid & quaaludes to pass the next 2 yrs ...waiting Mr Burton

where is your stand and how much for a cup of the goood stuff

I want waht you guys are taking , go to the light , its good in the light .....

Dolan will announce the sale of the Sports division as it called and leave new owners with a clean slate in both teams with no bad contracts to incumber them..
My bet is post 7/30 when the new fiscal yr starts ... and before season starts

hats the only redeeming quality getting rid of joke of a man /owner
we can only go up in that situation ...L G R someday again !

Dolan? He may be a douche, but can't ask for a better owner. Doesn't get involved in the day to day/player stuff, and money, aside from cap constraints has never been an issue.

With Tom Wilson or Cody McLoed they still ain’t winning this year, so yes what’s the big deal?

Much rather have his contract than most of other FAs signed

I guess many want other signings made besides McLeod... understand that, but who and at what price?. Plenty of time for that to happen, as well as picking up a salary dump with some prospects and or draft picks attached, ala Callahan

I'm with you, don't like it but he's the 12th, 13th forward AT BEST on the team, for no $, no biggie. Dog days talk. I bet you he's a good guy in the room like with Glass a few yrs back.
